Half-term special

We went to colchester!            

On day 2 went to the zoo.
We saw humbolt penguins and sea-lions in a tunnel.
On day 3 we went fossil hunting.
We saw sanderlings and turnstones.

We found lots of sea shells.
We found a cuttle-fish boan.
On the peeer there was a little sea -life senter.

Nautilus

The Nautilus is related from all things with tentkals.
Did the Nautilus live at the time of the dinosors?
A Nautilus has eyes eether side of the hed.
The Nautilus has a spiral shell.

HOW TO MAKE UOR OWN SQUID PENCIL CASE

First get a short carbdord tube.
Then put a pees of paper at one end.
Next put a shcrood up pees of paper on the paper.
Then cut out strips of paper and put them on the frunt.
Next cut out carbdord squares and put them on the side.
Then get a smoll box.
Next put a biger carbord tube on it.
Then put the carbord tube on the squid.

Flatworms

Flat worms are related to sea slugs.
They eat ded stuf and corul.
Flat worms are good swimers.
Flat worms hav colourful patterns.

Swordfish

Swordfish hav a long pointed nose.
Swordfish eat fish crustaceans and squid.
Swordfish heat up their eyes to mak them see better.
Most of the time people see swordfish jumping out of the water.

Great white sharks

Great white sharks are dangerous.
Great whites are so dangerous divers go in a safty cage.
All sharks hav rows of teeth.
Most of the boys like sharks.

Horseshoe crab

Horseshoe crabs are like a plaice and a ray.
A horseshoe crab is not akchly a crab.
A horseshoe crab is a brownish colour.
Horseshoe crabs lay 20,000 eggs.

Penguins

Penguin babys sometimes huddle together.

Penguins jump of cliffs into the water.

Penguins eat fish.

Emperor penguins are the fastest penguin swimmers.
